Lara Morgan is most widely known for building her own global leading brand licensing business, Pacific Direct over the course of seventeen years before selling a majority share for holding of the company for £20 million. She is proud mother of three, and determined to be a voice for growth enterprise support as well as driving sales pride in Britain through Companyshortcuts.

Lara is a world-class and high impact, memorable and much liked speaker with a practical open and approachable style. She has her own investment portfolio backing both her own ideas, but also investing in driving great British innovations such as Company Shortcuts, Dryrobe, KitBrix and GATE8-luggage. Scentered, for mood and mindset management, Spiezia a 100% organic health and wellbeing brand and Lara’s legacy business, Activbod (a unique range of personal care sports recovery products) make up her portfolio of interests. Lara invests in products that genuinely improve the lives of others and has a particular desire to raise the heart rate of the nation.

She is particularly interested in helping accelerate companies’ fast growth and motivating fast-growth and proven business-owners to set higher leadership goals. She is a catalyst ambassador for UKTI, helping ambitious businesses export.

A regular commentator on current affairs and business issues with Sky and BBC News, Lara has appeared on BBC2’s ‘The Apprentice: You’re Fired’.

She has been a finalist in Ernst & Young Entrepreneur three times and was a finalist in the Veuve Clicquot Businesswoman of the Year Award. She is the author of the recently published Amazon bestselling business book, ‘More Balls Than Most’ and was a co-founder of Start Up Britain. Taking it all in her stride, Lara also manages to stay fit currently resting having come 10th in the world in 2011 World Triathlon Championships.
