Peter was UKBAA Angel Investor of the Year for 2014/15, is a Fellow in Entrepreneurship at the Cambridge Judge Business School, has founded 12 companies, has invested in over 50 startups, is a Non-Executive Director/board observer of seven of these startups and advises many others.
He is currently chair of the Cambridge Business Angels.
As an Angel, Peter has personally been investing in high growth startups for many years. He is the Investment Director at Martlet, the Corporate Angel division of Marshall of Cambridge (a £2.1bn sales, 5000+ person engineering company). He set up the Computing Laboratory Ring mentoring scheme and is chair of the Cambridge ideaSpace supporter group.
He has over 50 investments in the biotech, medtech, ICT, web, fire safety, electronics, mobile data, aerospace, printing and instrumentation sectors, concentrating on B2B opportunities and is a member of the Investment Committee of the Angel Co-investment fund.
Over the last 14 years, he is and has been treasurer and chair of several charities in the advice, healthcare and education sectors.
He has also undertaken several commercial and domestic property development and construction projects.
