Tony has over 25 years experience of building and financing digital and technology businesses. He was a founding partner of Reed Elsevier Ventures (now REV Venture Partners) in 2000 and focuses on big data, digital health, ag tech, Internet and technology investments.

Previously Tony was at SOFTBANK/News Corporation’s European joint venture fund, eVentures. Before this Tony was a founder member of mobile internet group at Cellnet (now O2) and an executive with Random House responsible for digital ventures. Tony started his career with PriceWaterhouse in London.

Tony currently serves on the boards of Agworld, Babbel, CreativeLive and TigerText and advises MemSQL. Previously, Tony served with the boards of Activate Networks (acquired by Decision Resources), AllBusiness.com (acquired by Dun and Bradstreet), Babylon (public: TASE), Business.com (acquired by RH Donnelly), Intraspect (acquired by Vignette), iPhrase (acquired by IBM), Netli (acquired by Akamai), Partminer (acquired by IHS), Siperian (acquired by Informatica) and SRD (acquired by IBM). He is also an active investor in Palantir, Recorded Future, Euclid, Signal, FingerPrint Digital, Ycharts, Heavy Bit and Seedcamp.

Tony holds a Bachelor of Science degree in physics from Royal Holloway College, London.
